Opens an account instead of closing

Good day

I was interested to switch my account to Absa and sent various emails of which no one has responded or called back

Tried to open on app and still no call back Called on Thursday 21 Dec and spoke to Zanele at the CRU Department to make sure no account is opened She confirmed that I will receive an Sms of closure Now to my surprise, I received a text saying account is opened

Does Absa staff know what they doing? I do not want to switch as you have proved how bad your service is

Please ensure that I do not have any transactional accounts with Absa
