opening up an account

to whom it may concern

as a family who had accounts with various banks absa is making it very hard for us to open an account for my sister. she is 15 years old my mother and father a married in customary law there surnames are not the same my sister has my fathers surname she needs to open an free youth account. yet we have been told to get various documents because of the surnames that is not the same and she needs an abbriged certificate. my father is working and cannot take time of to get to the bank and the absa branch in welkom at pick n pay is so slow that we cannot be in an out . so what must we do my mother has the time to go into the branch but the problem is that we are geting cintradicting information regarding the requirements. please help make this process more effiecient. i trust that absa can put a potiential customer in good care going forward urgen t
