Opened my account with my old number

I opened my account with absa online and I gave them my present cellphone number. They went and opened it with the number that I used four years ago. I don't know where they get the number from.<br> I contacted them to changed the number and the referred me to the branch. I went to Sandton branch to update the number and the gave me a ticket with the number C099. I stayed there for an hour and I got no help.<br> People that came after me were helped first. <br> I even decided to leave as I saw that I wasn't going to be helped anytime soon.<br> I am even considering closing this bank account since it will take my time to fix this cellphone number which is not my fault to start with.<br> I am just asking myself if this is how Absa operate just to change a number that they mistakenly put on my profile.<br> If it is the I don't think it's worth it opening accounts with ABSA
