Once again, my direct communications were ignored until I was forced to escalate the issue on social media. It appears to be ABSA’s standard practice to ignore clients until they give up or go public—a pattern I have experienced consistently over the last three years.Furthermore, the handling of the credit limit increase was highly misleading. I received an unsolicited offer stating I was provisionally approved for a specific amount [insert X], pending income verification. After a tedious back-and-forth, I was offered only a quarter of that amount. This 'provisional approval' feels like a deceptive tactic designed to bait customers into applying for credit.Finally, the assistance provided by Vanessa was entirely unhelpful; she merely acted as a messenger, forwarding my concerns back to the same unresponsive team. It is unacceptable that ABSA pays staff to deliver this level of service. I genuinely dread the day I might require urgent assistance from your bank.

That is 100% a lie. I have sent my payslips twice, and I have the emails to prove it. Once again the lazy agents did not feel like putting in any more effort than what is required to remain employed. I even explained to you telephonically when I sent the payslips, and I sent it again. You are 100% aware of this, do not try to point this back to me.

This is a pattern with ABSA now. Lazy employees ignoring customers, and customer care playing broken telephone. The word "premium" belongs nowhere near any of your products

I was provisionally approved for X amount, pending income verification. Since you did not look at the payslips I sent, you came to a different conclusion.

How is that validation as per process when you did not look at the payslips?

The they were ignored, and the process expired becasue the payslips were apparently not received. Why would ABSA request my payslips, ignore them, cancel the whole thing and give the reason that they were not received, if they were not required to start off with?

As with my previous complaint about this exact thing, I do not have additional income.

I have recorded calls of each time I spoke to someone from ABSA. You can send me dates and times you called, and I will provide a recording. If you send me dates and times where you did not get hold of me, I will provide proof that you did not even try to call me.

The money you are referring to is not an additional income, as was explained telephonically numerous times, even during previous complaints about this very thing.

You now admitted that you did not bother to check my payslips, and if you had done so, it would have painted a different picture than what you have in your mind. Again, this was also explained telephonically during a previous complaint.

I have all the emails, and I can provide dates and times when I sent you the payslips, you just chose to ignore them.

The level op lip service from you is astounding, and no doubt numerous people struggle tremendously because of your unwillingness to provide proper assistance.
