on hold for 11 & 12min before call was cut by them
I have an issue with my internet banking and I need to cancel 1 of my voluntary R400 payments due to go off on 26/01/2016. I went to Absa in East london to setup my internet banking options in Dec as I was struggling to do it myself and they indicated all was in order & all I needed to do was login and the various services would be available to me. Today I logged in and was surprised to find a msg indicating I couldnt do anything as my \limits"were not set. when I called the internet banking call centre I held for 11 minutes and 12 minutes (2 different calls) before the calls cut - not my doing! These are sharecall numbers and I am not in a position to keep wasting money while I hold indefinately for assistance. I tried to ask another division if they could pass on a message to the necesary dept to contact me back but they advised it wasnt possible. Upon discussing my issue with them (limits not set for online banking) they indicated I need to go to a branch (which I did in Dec) & just cannot do during the week as I am currently without my car. I hereby request Absa transfer my R400 back to me once it goes off on the 26/01 as well as cancel the stop order. They can also contact me"""
