Not getting rebate for new vehicle finance as promised

<p>Dear And a Vehicle Finance,</p> <p>I purchased a new vehicle at the beginning of August 2016. Because my previous vehicle was also financed through Absa I received confirmation that I will be receiving a rebate four figure number due to financing the new vehicle also through Absa. Yesterday I phoned Absa contact centre to follow-up about the rebate that is owed to me and how would the payment be made and by when. When I spoke to someone at the contact centre she told me that there is no rebate due to me and that I don't qualify for it. Now my question is how is this possible after two text messages was sent to me before I signed the contract and the Absa individual that processed my contract also told me that I will receive a rebate amount.
