Not delivering on time.

I app**** for a credit card at Absa Bank (136 Adderley Street Cape Town City Centre) on 01/17/2015, the consultant that helped me assured me that the credit card will arrive within 7 working days and I took the option of collecting the credit card myself. I do not bank with Absa but was assured that I can still open a Credit Card with them. It is now the 16/07/2015 and I still have not received my card, I've been to the bank almost everyday to ask about it but they cannot give me an explanation why the card has not arrived yet they just simply tell me it has not arrived and leave it at that. I seriously do not understand what could be the problem and they do not even call me to tell me there will be delays or they maybe discovered something wrong with my application they are just quiet and leaving me in the dark with no explanations. I do not Know whether this treatment is because I don't bank with them or deliveries take longer if you do not bank with them but they could have atleast told me that. I really am dissapointed with Absa Bank.
