Not acting in good faith

<p>I left South Africa in March this year to work in Europe. At the time I had my ABSA current account closed, but I owed about R7000 on the account. I set up a debit order of R1000 a month to pay off the ABSA account. Due to some technical mishap the debit order never worked. I didn't bother to check, which was foolish, but I also never received any correspondence telling me that the account was overdrawn. Two weeks ago the tenant at my property in SA scanned and forwarded a summons from Guthrie and Theron law firm (acting on behalf of MacRobert Inc) stating I need to appear in court for the money I owe ABSA. I immediately emailed back to the contact given in the summons stating that I am happy to make arrangements to pay ABSA the money. I had no response. I then emailed the general address for Guthrie and Theron. I had no response. The strange thing is I was a client of theirs when living in SA and always received very prompt responses. I then emailed MacRobert Inc. I have had no response. To me it looks like they are actively forcing me to default and have a court judgment set against me. This is very concerning. As stated, I ma happy to pay the amount I owe.</p>
