Non-exsisting Creditcard debt

<p>Good day,</p> <p>I was contacted about a year ago to receive a ABSA credit card. I didn't want the card, but they said they will send it to the branch (Ermelo) I received the sms to collect the card and just ignored it. After about a year I started receiving statements for the card, (bank costs), I phoned and asked to cancel the card, and ABSa said that it will be cancelled. After a few months I received statements again, I called ABSA and they asked me to send an email, to cancel and close the card and write off the bank charges. I send and email on 3 March, and a follow up email on 3 June, wihtout any feedback. I called ABSA on 6 June, and they had no info of the cancellation. They phoned me this morning, and I told them everything again, and they said they will send my query to the correct department. They called again this afternoon (about the arrears on my card - which is all bank charges) and when I asked about the correct department and notes of the cancellation, they had nothing on record. Please help me to cancel and close this card as I don't know what to do anymore.</p>
