Non assistance in locating received forex
I TT Swift transferred money to my daughter in South Africa from India on two occassions for family maintenance purposes as i am on contract in India. The first transfer was a US$ 875,00 transfer on 11.02.2015 an error in the swift code by the transferring bank Wells Fargo resulted in the funds again being deposited on 24.02.2015. I then transferred US$ 1275.00 on 26.02.2015.

To date non of these funds have been cleared albeit the transfers been concluded from my bank in India ICICI bank via Wells Fargo to ABSA. I furnished my daughter with transfer/deposit codes and on approaching the branch they gave her a telephone number to contact albeit the staff there have full access to the banking system, i cannot believe that supp**** the forex amount, date of remittance, origin transaction tracking number etc they are incapable of logging onto there banking system to trace this money.

The irony is that at the same time i deposited funds into my sons account at FNB on the same dates same process and within 48 hrs the funds were cleared. The staff are not interested in assisting no contact details iro a PERSON to contact to resolve generally its not my problem attitude.....
