No support for Bristish Airways card managed by ABSA
I have a British Airways Mastercard that is managed by ABSA, which includes the internet support. I am currently in Santiago, Chile and have been trying to reset my password for the BA card website. The Sure Check verification is not coming to my phone for some reason, but there is the option to have the verification sent to your email as an option. After numerous calls to the relevant call centre agents, I was advised that the email verification option has been setup on my card. However it is still not working, I have emailed support, no responses. I have called the call centre and even done the password reset with them on the phone and advised them that the phone Sure Check option, is still the only option showing, which is not working. The agents solution was to click the "Resend" button three times. It only allow you to res-send once. The agent could not comprehend this either. It seems like the staff are completely *********** and have absolutely no idea of what is going on. It is very frustrating when I have to try and sort this out from the other side of the world and where I am 6 hours behind South Africa time, so there is a very short-time frame to make contact with the call centre I have now just given up trying to sort out my internet banking password reset for the BA card. I will just have to rely on the monthly bank statements. When I eventually return to South Africa at the end of the year I will be closing my account for sure.
