No Statements for 2 Years

I went into arrears with my Absa Loan account when I was unemployed and could no longer manage my repayments. My account was then handed over to Norton Lambrianos Attorneys for collection and since I started paying my account and making a payment arrangement with them, I have not received one statement from either the collecting attorneys or Absa Bank.

Since 2015, I have been paying on a monthly basis, according to the standing arrangement and to date not one statement was sent to me. I have been summonsed to court with the Attorneys, and upon querying the fact that there were 2 different accounts under the same loan account, they never got back to me on this either. I have since requested a full statement from 2015 to date to check what exactly the balance on this loan account is now and was told I must refer to Absa Bank. I do not feel that I should have to go into the bank for something I should be sent automatically on a regular basis. If the attorneys are collecting on behalf of the bank, they should be sending the statements.

I want my statements to be emailed to me, because I feel I am paying, and not seeing where this money goes every month. It is my right as a debtor to know where I stand and totally disagree with the fact that I have to beg for something that is owing to me.
