No staff

At 15:00 today I entered ABSA in Vrede to make a cash deposit. After waiting in the queue for quite a while we were informed that the teller on duty had gone to Spar to go and do some shopping. There were at least 4 of us waiting in the line. BUSINESS HOURS!!!! At the same time a lady walked in assisting an elderly lady whom clearly wasn't very steadfast on her feet. She had to make an urgent transfer to settle an account. The lady at the front desk informed her that there was no one available to assist her. With such bad service why no just close the branch! Stop using our money to keep an inefficient branch open!
