No response from absa
My wife had a cheque account with absa.She was on maturity leave for 4 months so no money went into this account.Dec a lump sum was paid into her account and when we tried to use the account absa said the account is blocked.After going to the branch (belhar) they inform her she needs to bring proof as to where the money comes from that is in her account. She spoke to a consultant (Dylan)via phone and he gave an email address as to where we need to send the proof of payment to.Proof of payment was sent and to date we still had no response from absas side. I have email numerous time but no luck. My wife still does not have access to her money.

04 Feb 2019, 10:19Just got off the phone with absa and was informed that my previous emails was not even processed yet!!!!! Its the 4th of feb and i cant even get my salary!!!

06 Feb 2019, 08:35Its the 6th of Feb and I am still waiting on ABSA to give my money. I have send them all the proof of payment that they required from me and even a letter of confirmation from the bank that I want them to transfere the funds to.
Nothing yet and I cant even get my salary . I have a family to take care of and my responsibilities.
It is a real struggle to get your own money which you work so hard for.
