No Response!!!
I signed a new mortgage bond with ABSA in November 2015 which required HOC cover, but I did not accept ABSA's ridiculously high premiums, so arranged alternative cover with my existing insurance company, as I was advised by the bank's transferring attorney.

I submitted proof of cover to the HOC & homeloan agent as requested and finally received a confirmation email on 10 December 2015 that the vetting had been declined due to some minor adjustments which had to be made in the policy wording.

I immediately rep**** to say that I would be arranging for the policy to include the building insurance amount stipulated by ABSA, as well as the fact that the property is bonded to ABSA. I have to date STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE OR CONTACT to confirm cancellation and refunding of the premiums which they deducted without my approval! I have followed up via email on numerous occasions, getting an automated email response with a reference number, but I am being ignored completely now that they have \their money\"

This is completely unacceptable practice and I demand (again) for someone to escalate with management to follow-up and resolve urgently as it has been over 2 months of NOTHING!!!!"
