No Refund when promised

on the 4th Aug ABSA took money from my Savings account for a credit card that was paid up and closed in Feb 2015. Upon enquiring at the bank yesterday I was told that the money has not reflected in the credit card and the consultant contacted CC division and was informed that it will only reflect today and that I must come back today.... So after having to take another half days leave to go and get this sorted just to be informed again that it is still not reflecting and I will only have my money back in my account on Friday>>> Why only Friday???!! Quick to take it but can't put it back that quick. They can see the funds went out but they not quick to reverse the transaction. So this excercise cost me 2 x 1/2 days leave, my time, my petrol and it's still not resolved! How pathetic! HUGE inconvenience.. NOT ACCEPTABLE!
