No pay out or interest in third party claims

My dad was hit by a driver who is insured with ABSA. The driver shot the red robot and he had even admitted to shooting the robot as he was in a hurry to go to work, my dad was on the way home. This accident happened at the beginning of March /end of February. The guy who shot the red robot had said he has insurance with ABSA and that you will send someone to assess the car. My dad is not a wealthy person who can just afford to buy new cars, this car was the only mode of transport my family could rely on. My mom goes to work between 3am and 4am in the morning and there is no public transport that goes to her working place at that time, she has to walk long distances at that part of the morning to try and get transport to go to work. This accident has really put my family under a lot of pressure and worry, my father had phoned many times to speak to the person in charge of the case, and the officer in charge first said that he will call us and we should not call them in a very rude manner. He also said that we should wait 1 week. However, nothing has happened, no assessors has come to see us but an assessor has been to the other guys house. We have called other times as well and yes i understand that you have to investigate but no one is communicating with us about our claim. Its now the 6th week and nothing . Therefore, i feel absa insurance as a very poor service , you do not show interest in third part claims. Your consultants and officers are rude and unhelpful. You dont know the extent to which other people suffer because of your insured parties accidents and yet you show no interest. I am very upset, angry and disappointed at how Absa can allow such poor service. Not solving or offering assistance for a solution, seems as though you just don't want to pay out any third party claims.
