No HELP

I have lost my income and pro-actively went to the Cresta branch to advise of my dire situation and ask for a payment relief on my RCA only to sit in the queue for 1h30 and be told that as I am not permanently employed I can't be granted a payment relief. HOW DOES THIS EVEN work. I am not putting my head in the sand but approaching the bank BEFORE I go into arrears to be told I don't qualify. I will just cancel my debit order as I can't pay and no payment arrangement approved so what must I do. Go to the press as a vulnerable person????
