I met with a private banker while I was still in South Africa asking for assistance in setting up a savings account as transferring large deposits from my account overseas. She gave me a business card and said once deposit is there to email her and she would set up. So, my money is now sitting in a checking account as I sit overseas with no response as I miss out on earning interest on my hard earned money! I want to buy a home but can't do it at this rate as they probably won't even help me organize a bond. So annoying ... wonder how they would feel if this was their money??
