New Customer and already frustrated

I'm disappointed with ABSA Aliwal North branch. This morning I was there to get my new debit card and activate internet banking for a business account I've just opened but already I can see red flags with this bank. Customer service has only one person working there (Mr Faku), all the other chairs are empty. He says everyone else is on leave and there's a long line of people waiting to be assisted. How can this happen on the 1st of December? Everyone is running up and down sorting things out, even the ATMs are full but you have people on leave. During this time of the year shouldn't there be "all hands on deck"? It is especially disappointing since I'm moving my account from another bank which was giving me problems but it seems I'm going to regret this move.
