NEVER TRUST ABSA WITH YOUR MONEY,THEIR SERVICES IS NO LONGER LIKE BEFORE
Absa service is dropping specially on the deceased estate department the bank is no longer the same.
There's a deceased estate account held in absa of which am the executor. I have submitted all the necessary documents including the proof of residence they said they needed.
The consultant that assisted me advised that I should constantly check up with the national estate deceased department. Of which I did only to find out that they haven't started with my claim yet. After so many weeks of claiming and waiting patiently.
When I asked the reason it's because they have a backlog of claims but I was told that it takes up to 2 months to process after submitting all the documents.
Then to my suprise when I called this month on 25/11/2022 the lady by the name of emely said that the absa branch where I was claiming didn't certify my proof of residence.and my understanding is that they haven't yet touched my papers, given the time I have waited meaning this will take up to six month to process my papers.
Question is if I didn't contact them how was I suppose to know that it's not certified why didn't they call the branch and make it aware since I submitted all the documents needed.
This is not Absa bank that I know, the one that we used to call it our family bank where everyone in the family banks with them.
