NEVER BANK WITH ABSA. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK

ABSA does not respond to clients, especially when you want to close your account. My father in law died over a year ago. I sent through all the required documents including the death certificate, letters from the executor, the court documents assigning executorship, instructions on what to do with the funds, the bank statements, the proof of the Attorneys bank account over a month ago and all i keep getting back is a new reference number and the comment that the turnaround time is 10 working days. The first response like this i got was in April when i had a query which has still not been answered and it continues. Not sure how ABSA counts working days, but if 4 months equals less than 10 working days, when do they actually work? The names they give to assist (and who obviously don't work more than 10 days in a four month period) are as follows: Amanda Simms, Dikeledi Lebelo, Daphney Zakri, Matilda Sibanda
