Need help

I'm trying to get a home loan. I know the criteria is very strict but I hope I can be helped. My wife and I earn about R15000 a month. We want a home loan to buy her parents house. We gave a offer to purchase and an agreement that he ( my wife's father) will pay off all our debts from the money he gets from the home loan so all we have to focus on is the home loan itself. The property is worth R1,4 million and we get get it for R700 000. I know there's little chance of us getting the home loan but I hope we can be helped.
