National Deceased Estates Absa - APPAULING Service
National Deceased Estates Absa is a disgrace to the institution. They are *********** and do not respond to questions or follow up. I have been issued with a Letter of Authority by the Master of The High Court to take control of my late Mother`s estate on 2 DECEMBER 2020. In January 2021 , I went to the Rosebank branch of Absa Bank to submit all the required documents for them to send it on to National Deceased Estates Absa ( certified copies were submitted and they made copies of originals which I had to fetch from home). My late Mother had three Absa accounts with funds in it which has to be transferred to my Absa account. All the accounts are Absa accounts, and as such, the transfer of the funds is an internal transfer. That should surely not be difficult to finalise in my view. It is now just about 1 year and 3 months later, and I am still waiting for the funds to be transferred. I keep getting asked to submit the necessary documentation which the attorney and both myself have done on numerous occasions – EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A CASE NUMBER GIVEN BY THEM. I am still waiting. I have sent further e-mails to ask again what the delay is, but they have now chosen to ignore me completely. Please be aware that this office is the worst in the entire banking fraternity. Do not expect any form of service from them. You will be, without any doubt, disappointed. I can only rate my experience with them as astounding and disheartening.
