NAEDO TRACKED DO STERO /AURUM 2344 1 - ABSA not helpful with no piece of mind

I received an unauthorized debit order to the value if R129 from my account. Although small amount it is ***** and masses are ****med this way. The reference number on my account: NAEDO TRACKED DO STERO /AURUM 2344 1

I contacted ABSA - they reversed the debit but I had to pay a R30 penalty for the reversal. When I asked what guarantee I can get that this specific debit order will not go off in future, after I told her I did not give permission for this in the first place, the agent could not. So I must just be happy to pay a R30 penalty forever.

She gave me the details of the company Real People Loans with the following numbers: ********** and 0 ********** 729. Surprise none of the numbers work when I called. Question how does ABSA vet companies and ensure legitimacy of the company they allow to take money from us? I am not happy with how ABSA is handling this, I entrust them with my money but given no guarantees that my interests are their priority. Today it is R129, tomorrow it could be a bigger value.

I am definitely not paying another penalty of this debit order goes through again as I have no way to reach "real people loans" ABSA allowed them to deduct the money, so ABSA will need to take it up with them.

I await ABSA's response and feedback on the legitimacy of "real people" and where I signed for money to be deducted from my account for the R129.
