MY 100 YEAR LOAN
Without Prejudice This is a communication directed at ABSA in a genuine attempt to settle a dispute using this media platform and in the future Cape 702 to open a dialogue, for I am sure I am not the only person in this unfortunate situation.
Has Absa become the Matrix(Artificial intelligence) that sucks the life force(money) from it clients or perhaps they have become SKYNET from terminator where all the final decisions are made by an AI and there no more human compassion left.
I was placed under debt counselling in December 2011,for the subscribers that are not fami**** with the proses, here is a quick run through, The consumer approaches a DEBT counselling company when over indebted, who then appoints a lawyer to go to the creditors and makes them a offer as to re payment terms, a discount and a better interest rate can be negotiated. Once the creditors and lawyers has come to an agreement , the application will be presented to a Judge and a court order will be issued, this court order lists each and every creditor, the account numbers, money owned on each account and repayment terms
Each Creditor receives a copy of this COURT ORDER stamped and singed by a JUDGE. My court order stated that on account @@@@ I owned R450 000 and I must pay an amount of R6500 per month and on account #### I owned R280 000 and I must pay an amount of R3500 per month. Not once did I default on a payment ,In fact I was paying a little more each month and as my financial satiation improved ( I started working in Angola), I was paying R10 000 to R20 000 per moth on the account.I received a statement from the debt counseling company every month reflecting my payments. Then in February my Debt counsellor informed me that Absa returned money to the value of plus minus R130 000,after countless frustration phone calls and standing in long queues at your information desks, I found a lovely lady, the bank manager at Brackenfell branch that actually showed an interest(only because of her, I am giving Absa 2 stars and not one) She went and got me the archived statements all the way back from December 2011,this is when it came to light that ABSA had on their system I owned on account @@@@ an amount of R250 000 and on account #### I owned and amount of R450 000,Acaully ABSA amounts was higher than the court order, What this meant due to a administrative error I was paying of account @@@@ very fast and account #### I was paying only interest and sometimes the interest was higher than the R3500 I was paying, hence my 100 year loan The friendly lady helped me to lodge a formal complains, but your complaints department does not seem to understand the account number was mixed up, and wrong amounts allocated I asked them to go back to the date of court order allocate the money I payed to the right accounts ,they only went and changed the interest rate, I paid Absa more than R360 000 in less than 6 years on account and due to this administrative error, the capital amount only went down by R100 000 HOW is this possible that ABSA will not go back and rectify their own mistake??? According to ABSA I still own them R400 000 on account #### if right amount was allocated and account numbers not mixed Up I would own R100 000 plus minus.
So I hereby request SKYNET to please appoint someone that is willing to sit down with me go through all the documentation that I have already sent to your complaints department, show some compassion and become ABSA again in my eyes. I find it very frustration working in Angola earning dollars and qualifying for a private account and that I cannot even open an account to purchase vehicle I am willing to fly to Johannesburg just to sit down and present my case. I can only apply to clear my name once this dispute is settle d. Should a human from Skynet try and contact me, you can do so via email or WhatsApp for I am currently in Angola and my South African number does not work.
Kind Regards. Helpless but Hopeful
