Most pathetic absa branch Paarl Mall

It is amazing to see the decline in a once proud bank. The Paarl branch of Paarl have only one (1) person dealing with customer sevice - of all things- and waiting time is hours. there are always ques waiting. Then there are the consultants who barely function and assit and addin g to waiting time. When we complained to the manager we were told absa, who makes billions in profit from its customers, decided to cut staff to save costs!! Going this way it seems that there is goint to be many clients moving to other banks who at least try and give service. It is a pity that we do not get any respect from banks anymore and that we are all treted nowadays as we are treted by Home affairs and waiting in long ques. Add to this that even if you have a private banker they seem to pass you on to someone else. It is a shame and I hope peole let the bank know with their money and go else where
