MONTHLY SERVICE FEE ON AN UNUSED CREDIT CARD

I was charged a monthly service fee of R55.70 on my ABSA credit card and upon querying it in August it was reversed. In September the same thing happened again and I only called ABSA today to query it, 27 November 2015 after I noticed that they had deducted R25.00 from my savings account to pay the monthly service fees. The Agent told me that if I don't use my credit card I get charged a service fee of R55.70 every month. I told the agent that I would like to close the account in that case and she told me that I have to pay R145.42 for them to close it, but on my statement it only shows that I owe R87.79. this is very unfair.
