Money taken by RCCS BOSS JHB (ABSA)

Below is a complaint I wrote against RCCS BOSS JHB (ABSA) where they debited over R9400.

I would like for someone in ABSA to give me a call and get this matter sorted. My account was debited an amount of R9400 by RCCS BOSS JHB. Where did they get consent to do that and who are they? Please sort this out as my account is now sitting on a deficit which affects my credit scoring.

I then received feedback from ABSA that this was due to my credit card being in arrears. This was a problem for me because the people who debited my account was a third party company (collections department) which never received consent from me as a client. Absa then agreed to pay me 50% of the money and I agreed because I was stuck between a rock and a hard place seeing that my account was on a minus and that my rent and other thing were not paid. A couple of days later an amount of R543 was debited by RCCS again with no consent from me. Nthabiseng Sibande who was assisting me with my query then responded to be 2nd complaint by advising that this amount was debited because I did not make an arrangement with LGR attorneys. Now as per PASA an entity cannot debit a clients account without their consent, is this legal?

I will also take this up with the banking Ombud to find out if everything that has transpired was lawfull or not.

Now Nthabiseng cannot assist me because I haven't made any payment arrangement on the email .
