Moms death nightmare transfer

My mom died 3 years ago.

I bought her car from the estate because I couldnt bear the thought of someone else driving it. Yes, it was an emotional decision, I just wasnt ready to say goodbye and having something of hers made me feel a little bit less alone, like a part of her was with me.

Her car was financed through Absa, she had paid it off years before but Absa kept the papers. When the lawyers tried to get the papers from Absa, absa just ignored them. Three years later I am still trying to get the papers. Absa ignores every communication from the lawyers, do not answer the phone, ignore emails and I am left to deal with the stress on a daily basis of driving a car I cannot licence. On top of the stress of grieving during that time and trying to make ends meet to support a family of four, the dread I feel every day we have to drive the kids to school, doctors or do grocery shopping is terrifying. I cant licence the car, put it in my name, insure it, sell it or drive it beyond absolute neccessity.

I am mostly house bound unless the destination is in walking distance.

And Absa doesnt bother.

My stress levels are so bad. How can such a simple task cause three years of this?

I just dont know what to do any more.
