Missing *instant* EFT payment from ABSA to Nedbank

Sunday evening I made an "instant payment" of R2500 from my Absa account to a Nedbank account. I received a POP sms, also confirmed the money left my account. BUT The Nedbank account holder did not receive the money! And getting any helpful information from Absa seems impossible.

Monday: Phoned Absa Multiple times, every time they assured me the funds were successfully transferred to the correct Nedbank account, because that is what their system says.

**I was also told that instant payment can't be done over the weekend. But the option is there, and I was assured Absa will charge me the R65 rand fee!!! **

I was told to send my query to ********** Which I did [Jun 3, 2019, 2:37 PM (4 days ago)] but to date, they have not responded to this email.

The Nedbank acc holder phoned his bank which confirmed they did not receive the payment.

Wednesday: I visited to the bank office, the agent tried to be very helpful, phoning people and sending an email to EFTPaymentQueries

Thursday morning: the agent phoned me to let me know that EFTPaymentQueries responded saying the request will be handled within 3 days

Later that day I went to the branch again, the agent had no news, and is trying his best to get information.

Friday: I phoned the escalation numbers, found on the EFTPaymentQueries email: *No answer* Nanikie Molefe - Office :+27 11 ********** Cecile Lupke - Office: +27 11 **********

Then phoned the Sanridgesquare Absa bank, hoping to speak to the manager, who was not available. but instead was transferred to the agent that previously tried to help, he still had no information and asked that I contact Junaidh Khan on +27 11 ********** or ********** He unfortunately did not answer his phone, so I sent him an email.

I'm impatiently waiting for Absa to tell me where my money is.
