Missing bank statements

So I am applying for a bond through a bond originator, I need to give bank statements from my bank, absa, yet there are statements missing from the system witch has held up the process immensely, for some reason there are no statements available from August till December of last year. I have been in and out of my branch every day trying to resolve this with absolutely no joy, I feel like I haven't been taken seriously at all and no one can actually give me any sort of answer as to why these statements are unavailable, all I have been told is I will be contacted by absa within 48 hours, I find this kind of service UNNACEPTABLE and am on the brink of emptying all my accounts and moving to a bank that knows what is actually going on. How can a financial institution of this magintute mess up so badly? What was supposed to be a simple process has now turned into an extremely stressful situation for me, it is affecting me mentally as well as professionally as I stand to lose this house I am trying to purchase for my family.
