Misleading clients

Very disappointed with Absa. Been banking with them for a while now. Took out a loan to do home renovations a while back which is all good, then 3 weeks ago I needed to top up my loan, the consultant advised me to extend the credit limit on my credit card to R50 000.

I then app**** for vehicle finance as I have a courier business and I'm subcontracted to a recognized courier company. It was a Saturday that I did the application at a Gateway branch in dbn. The consultant said it was pre-approved. Then on Monday I was sent a msg saying my finance is approved and they just need my driver's license and ID copy. 2 days after that they told me it was declined after they had sent me an sms saying it was approved. Had they not told me it was approved, I would have not tendered for a new route in my company, if I don't get a bakkie to complete the work that I signed for, I am liable to pay the company for as long as they keep a hired vehicle to do the job.
