MISLEADING ADVERTISING BY BRITISH AIRWAYS

On the strength of getting Avios RewardsI joined up to get a BA Credit Card (ABSA). They offered a Free Flight to Cape Town wDpeartmentith the 5,000 Avios I would receive the first time I used the Card. Unfortunately the Avios required by them to fly to Cape Town is 13,000 Avios PLUS R700.00! What a *******! Their Call Centre is a complete disaster staffed by dummies and their Complaints Department promises to get a consultant to contact one within 3 days. After a month of e-mailing not one person has ever contacted me!! Amazing attitude but then this IS South Africa!
