*********** Management Absa DeAar

We had a very unpleasant experience with Absa (DeAar branch)

Few months ago my brother passed away and we went to absa DeAar as we knew he was a client there he received a funeral policy payout of 15000 in his account which now became an estate late account however for us that paid for his funeral to get this money we needed a letter of authority

So we went to court got the letter after about 3 months upon arriving back at absa with the letter we got a statement showing that the money has been used and there is only 3000 left in the account we then questioned why this account was never frozen and how there was access gained to the account if the deaar branch consultant told us that the account would be frozen until such time we get the authority letter they then blamed us saying we used the money however we then proved to them there was no way it could be us and found them to be denying their negligence and incompetence

We then got assisted by a very helpful branch manager from Absa Diamond pavillion who acknowledged the fault was with absa and they would refund the 12k that was lost because of their negligence he then refered the matter back to Deaar as it was this branch which was ***********

I then contact the Deaar branch where i got Felicity which was the very first person i dealt with in this matter after she was then found to be very rude and unhelpful shouting at me as the client and blatantly saying we stole the money the matter was refered to kimberley

today back with her to finalise the matter and make the refund as Mr Van Eden said it was finalised yesterday already i contact her to my regret the service i received was awful she shouts has no professionalism and still denies the fact that she was found to be *********** and refers to me as talking nonsense and being blatantly very disrespectful and refuse to do the refund as said by Mr Van Eden yesterday

is this how absa train their staff to treat their clients after they have been found *********** and clearly knows nothing of customer service this was the worst experience ever
