Ludicrous bank charges

I sent ABSA an online message well over a week ago asking for an explanation for the R160 rejected debit order fee they slapped me with. I am really curious about it as I had a debit order bounce about 4 months ago and I was charged R60 now the fee has suddenly jumped by an additional R100. I was especially interested to note that Capitec charges less than R5 for a bounced/rejected debit order and I asked ABSA why their's was so high in comparison. I also asked for info on how to cancel my account and investments at ABSA so I can move over to Capitec. No one has bothered to come back to me. I have been with ABSA since 1997 and they were a brilliant bank. The last few years have just been irritation and disappointment with them. I will be happily moving to Capitec where I will save R50 on charges each month and that's without any debit orders bouncing/rejecting. Very sad that ABSA has become a greedy bank who does not care about its customers, especially loyal ones who have stayed with them for almost 20 years.
