Lost title deed & social media team is useless!

Absa's idiocy has delayed our new home's transfer by at least a week. Why? Because the tools lost our title deed. Yes, the guardians of your money, insurance and home loans LOST a title deed. Just... lost it.<br> <br> After finding out this shocking information (thankfully I was sitting at the time) I message their social media team, who asked for some information, which I duly supp****. After that I was treated like I'd just contracted a dread disease. None of my follow-up messages were answered.. not one! I could see that they were active and read each message, but was met with a silence that only some corners of deep space could match.<br> <br> Needless to say we've heard nothing further from these clowns, so they're probably busy running around trying to find all the other title deeds they've lost. Which is what banks do, right?<br> <br> Now we have appointments with CCTV installers, alarm installers, landscaping people, a housewarming that needs postponing etc. all because someone thought our title deed would work well to roll a joint with because seriously, HOW DO YOU LOSE A TITLE DEED?<br> <br> Absa must've become a government department overnight, there's no other explanation for this utter uselessness.
