Lost title deed in ABSA posession

We are struggling to sell our flat under bond with Absa since 2011/2012 .We did get a cash buyer in December and the buyer did pay in her funds into the attorneys account 11/12/2025. On the 5th of January the process started to obtain the clearance certificates.9th January feedback from our attorney that the cancellation attorneys is waiting for the title deed from ABSA .Friday 16 Jan documents has been received by the attorneys .20 Jan it has been lodge. 23Jan cancellation and transfer has been stopped .There is a lost title deed (although) ABSA did sign for it years ago .Now is must be advertised and once again the sale has been delayed another 4 -8 weeks. Our tenant did move out already .So we are liable for rent and levies ,with no income receive .the purchaser is not happy at all This is an absolute disgrace that you as a customer can think your documents are safe and then you must be ok with SORRY IT'S MISSING
