Listed as an arrears account for 51cents!!

I recently called ITC to update my personal details. As an additional service the lady went through my credit report. I was horrified to find out that ABSA listed my vehicle finance account as in arrears. <br> <br> Upon querying with Vehicle Finance Accounts department I was told that due to a problem we had in March, my account was in arrears by 51cents and therefore I was listed. However it's not her job to let me know, the collections dept was responsible for it. <br> <br> I now paid 60cents via EFT to have my account brought up to date ITC!!!<br> <br> It has cost me in a phonecall and eft charges because ABSA has not done what they were supposed to!!!!<br> <br> How does ABSA systems have the capacity to list me as a late payer, but cannot write off 51cents or better still call me and request payment? Surely if they cannot be bothered with calling the customer due to the amount, in the same vein they should not be able to list me negatively on ITC.<br> <br> It is very apparent in SA companies have the power to list people on ITC as they see fit. It is then the individuals problem to resolve the issue even though they have not caused it and in most instances dont even know about it!!!<br> <br> I THINK THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM!!
