Limitations on lowering and raising limits of card
In November 2014 I upgraded my ABSA student credit card to a normal credit card since I have been working for Two Years now, I have a excelent credit record and ABSA gave me a limit of R80,000 when I first got the credit card.
I told them that I don't need a limit that high and don't feel safe with such a high limit with all the credit card ***** going around laitly, so I asked that they drop the limit to only R10,000

My car recently broke down and I want to be assured I have enough money to pay for what ever it may cost when I take it in (it could cost R15,000 and up to fix) so I asked that my limit on my credit card be raised to R25,000 (Still a LOT lower than the original R80,000 they gave me)
I have been through all their call centres and spoken to a lot of people, but there is just no way they can raise my limit because it has not been 6 months since I lowered my limit.

This is ridiculous 3 months ago they wanted to make my limit R80,000 and now they don't want to raise my limit to less than half that amount

Note: I have a perfect and clear credit record
