Limit Increase becomes limit decrease

I was contacted by ABSA call center to inquire if I wanted to increase my credit card limit. I said yes, and was told that it would be increased to R145 000, after sending 3 months payslips I just received an SMS that my limit had been decreased to R 45 000, went online to check and truly it was decreased. I ask you with tears in my eyes....HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???
