Learn for my mistake, do not take ABSA Building insurance.

During the storms in Cape Town, one of my walls collapsed. I contacted ABSA since my building insurance is with them. I logged a claim with them on 01/07/2021 and was impressed when the contractor assigned came to my house the next day. The contractor submitted the report to ABSA and an assessor was assigned. To date, I have only received 1 call from ABSA regarding this claim. I Phoned them every day, but each day I am given another person to contact and none of them replies to voice mails or emails. Tomorrow will be a week since my claim and I have not heard a word from ABSA. Save yourself the troubles and rather go to another building insurar.
