Languising incompetence

Yesterday I received a sms from Absa stating that an amount of R255880 has been activated on my revolving loan account and now I have to pay R708.70 per month on that account.

The problem is: That account is not active anymore! If someone has taken credit on this account it wasn't me. I've made numerous calls to Absa to dispute this, as it's clearly a ********** transaction. Yet, not their ***** department or any one of the other four departments I have spoken to is willing to help me with this.

How is this possible. With the data breach that was recently revealed you would think they would be extra vigilant in assisting their customers. But no, not Absa.

What am I supposed to do now?
