Lack of Response and Delay in Processing Request

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of service provided by your bank.

On the 16th of January 2025, I contacted ABSA regarding the authorization of the release of R5000. I was informed by Woodford that the funds were approved for release quite some time ago. However, despite numerous phone calls, emails, and assurances, the request remains unattended to. It has now been over 10 days since my initial inquiry, and I have yet to see any progress.

The lack of communication and the continuous shifting of responsibility from one agent to another has left me feeling incredibly dissatisfied with the service I have received. As a customer, I expect a level of professionalism and efficiency that, unfortunately, has been severely lacking in this instance.

The case number provided to me is ***1. I urge you to look into this matter urgently and provide me with a satisfactory resolution at your earliest convenience.

I would appreciate a prompt response to this email, as well as an explanation for the delay and any steps being taken to rectify the situation.

I trust that you will handle this matter with the urgency and attention it deserves. Thank you for your immediate attention to this pressing issue.

Yours faithfully,
