KEEPING SPACE IN THE LINE FOR OWNER

Seeing that ABSA in the Garden Route Mall is being renovated, I was forced to do my business banking in town. With my arrival there was a lady and a dog on a chair, waiting for the business teller. So I sat waiting my turn. As I got up I heard a man saying: Hey you can't do that, it's my spot! This man was standing in the teller cue and left his dog on the chair to keep his so called spot!!! I spoke to the manager asking her if this is how it works now & how would it look and how will it feel if each and every one of us brought our pets. She didn't answer me and blindly looked at me with no intention of correcting this matter. The old man then challenged me to TAKE IT OUTSIDE... Really??? Since when are pets allowed in the bank in any case?? I did warn the manager that if this had to happen again, I will make another scene & I will also take my bulldog & 2 cats. If you have any respect for your business & customers you won't allow this. What if I had taken my kids with & they got bitten by the dog????? Did that ever cross their minds? My kids love animals & if that dog is not used to kids, chances of biting is good! Please attend to this matter.
