Interest Charges

I am so not happy with ABSA and that is the reason I closed my bank account with them. I have a loan with ABSA, however I have a FIXED DEBIT ORDER that goes off on the 1st of each month. However because the 1st sometimes falls on a public holiday their system process the DEBIT ORDER on the 2nd of that month. Because of ABSA's deficient system, I am being penalized interest due to the late payment that went off. Receiving phone calls and being harassed to pay the interest. Who is processing the debit order? Myself or the bank? Is it fair that the customer is being charge for your system?<br> This is unacceptable.
