Insurance **********ly opened by a consultant while opening a savings account

On the 27th of July 2022, I visited one of Absa branches in Temba(Gauteng). The branch is in Jubilee Mall. The reason for a visit was to open a savings account and update my Fica details since I have moved places and have a vehicle account with Absa. Guess what? Today I get an email confirming my funeral policy (Which I did not agree to, nor have knowledge of). The beneficiary is someone i do not know,and the debit date is the 30th. Really. I am so dissapointed, I feel the consultant has taken me for granted or insulted my intelligence. I am also worried that how many customers are ****med like this?
