Inflated Credit Card amount and no statements sent

ABSA Bank stopped sending me my credit card statement on 07 August 2013 and I still continued making some payment after that. In 2014 the credit card information was completely removed from my credit report. Now I am surprised I am getting calls from people calling themselves Anders Trust Inc saying I owe ABSA money.<br> My credit was only left with around R700 when ABSA stopped sending me statements, but now I am told I owe R2503.35 How is that even possible?<br> <br> How can the owing amount, if the credit was still owing since you stopped sending me statement long time ago, how can the amount now be more 150% the owing amount?<br> <br> I went to ABSA Fourways requesting statements that show how the amount go there and to see all the payments I made but I was told that information is not available.<br> <br> How is that possible?<br> How I am I supposed to pay when I don't even know how much was handed over and what happened to my payments?<br> <br> I need to know before I forward this matter to the Banking Ombuts?
