Inefficiency supreme

On 2 January this year, I notified the customer service department per email of my husband's sudden demise and requested instruction on how to go about claiming under the Credit Life insurance. No response to date! The Executor has been trying to get similar information from them since January as well. In the meantime, I continue to get statements addressed to the Estate Late W Groves (so they did receive the e-mails) reflecting the debiting of life insurance premiums (yes to date regardless that my husband passed in December). They apparently only submitted the claim to Credit Life last week! In the meantime the balance has been climbing through the roof. Apparently the Estate will end up owing them about R400 - why? Simply because some of their staff have not been paying attention. The insurance premiums erroneously deducted exceed R400 - plus the interest portion accrued on that amount alone. This should have been attended to months ago. ID number in question is *** 083 W Groves
