Indian Givers
I was offered an increase in my company overdraft (subject to terms and conditions). I accepted the offer in APRIL 2017 and provided all the necessary documentation. I was overseas for 3 months and followed up on my application in July, when I returned. I was told that my application was under consideration, but that "these things take time". In September I was asked to sign a Cession of Debtors document, which I duly did. Three weeks ago I was told that my application had been approved and that the increase in our overdraft would soon be loaded on our account. As of today, 14 November, nothing has happened. I have been with United/Absa since 1993 and have been reasonably happy with them over the years. However, the handling of the matter under review has been completely unacceptable. Note: I accepted an offer of an overdraft on my personal account with Absa and within 24 hours, the funds had been credited to my account! An URGENT investigation into this matter would be greatly appreciated.
